Tween-Teen Rock Band
This program is designed to foster a child’s love of music kids ages tween to teen , it teaches tween or teen how to play an instrument and write songs in the setting of a rock band. The curriculum is designed to make music education a fun, collaborative and social experience. The curriculum is comprised of instrumental songs written specifically for the program. The students then write and sing their own lyrics which gives them a sense of accomplishment and ownership. This program allows the complete beginner to participate in an ensemble before even taking a single music lesson. In other words, it’s reversed the educational process by making private lessons a destination as opposed to an introduction. And let’s face it. The thought of joining a rock band is a pretty enticing proposition for kids of all ages.

This is for kids ages 12+ who has more than 3 years of musical training experienced on their instrument. Audition is required. We do not teach how to play the instruments in the rehearsal. Each rehearsal, participants pick their songs and arrange charts for the band members. There are couple public concerts throughout the year. One in January, One in June and we will invited to perform at couple festivals or street fair. Therefore, we require semester commitment. Currently we have couple openings. Please call for an audition if you are interested.
