Woodwind (Saxophone, Flute & Clarinet) Lessons
Our teachers teach a variety of styles ranging from classical, jazz to popular music. Whether you are a beginner or higher level, we are dedicated to helping you become an accomplished cellist.
Our woodwind faculty expertly guides students through everything from the fundamentals of sight-reading to advanced technique and theory. Your favorite songs are also included in your lessons. Why? Because happy students mean motivated students, which always equals success.
Our woodwind lessons are perfect for all ages, with tailored learning available for those wanting to start from as young as 6.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
QMA woodwind students learn all the chords, theory and skills needed to be able to master the songs and music they want, need, have to play. We help you achieve your goals both as a woodwind player and musician.
WHO IS THE IDEAL STUDENT
Our staff is great at teaching everyone, from those who have never touched a woodwind instruments, to advanced level students who wish to pursue music as a career. In short, it doesn’t matter what your ability level is because here at QMA. We have got something to offer all levels of ability.
OUR woodwind LESSON PROGRAMS
QMA program ensures that you will master all of the techniques, theory, and fundamentals you will need to enjoy playing woodwind instruments. All students use a proven method book that helps guide students to success. Fun quizzes are also used to reinforce progress, making sure that a student’s learning is both on track and enjoyable.
Our programs are for everyone from the age of 6 and up, be you a beginner, advanced, or somewhere in between.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
We know through extensive experience that playing music with other people –either in recitals or with bands– gives students the highest levels of enjoyment. It also gives a real sense of accomplishment. This is essential for self-motivation when learning how to play. In addition to focusing on the individual instrument of your choice, we also focus on performances.
WHO ARE THE woodwind TEACHERS
The teachers at QMA have all been through an extensive certification program and have either been awarded degrees from prestigious institutions or have extensive experience in the music industry.
HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT
Our woodwind teachers are actual employees and not privately contracted. This ensures everyone is dedicated to your learning.
Required to have tailored lesson plans for each of their students, our professors are also able to follow up on students’ lessons using our practice booklet. This allows students to log their practice minutes each week, which allows us to be certain everything is moving forward.
