Our Mission
Our school follows Dr. Suzuki’s philosophy as well as Shirley Given's Adventure in Violinland and Music For Little Mozart series for young pianists. Dr. Suzuki reasoned that if children have the skill to acquire their mother tongue, then they have the necessary ability to become proficient on a musical instrument. He pioneered the idea that any pre-school age child could begin to play any instrument if learning steps were small enough and if the instrument was scaled down to fit their body. We engage young children through the usage of visuals such as illustrated characters and stuffed animals to help make stories for each song. This helps to keep make their young minds more imaginative and exciting for each day's lesson. We believe that if we make the size of an instrument smaller, they are able to start playing as young as 3 years old.
