Lessons for Children or teens

At Queens Music Academy, we offer lessons starting as young as three years old - both traditional and Suzuki lessons. We highly recommend Suzuki Kids Program for little kids because they can get both private and group class experience. Our traditional music lessons are good for a short term goals like competition or NYSSMA ( New York State Music Test) or applying for special music middle or high school or programs.

Suzuki Kids Program is taught by Suzuki Certified teachers and designed for kids age 3-10. Kids can explore one string instrument (violin or cello) and piano at the same time. It is a 35 weeks long (Mid September to June), 15 week long (Spring: March-June or Summer: May-Aug), and features private lessons, group extra help classes, and monthly group classes (online or in person). Suzuki program requires long term commitment and parent’s involvement.
