Group Class #1 9/27/25
Our first group class of the Suzuki Kids Program!
Students learned beginner music theory, played games, and performed one-on-one demonstrations. At the end of the class, we shared snacks!
“Teaching music is not my main purpose. I want to make good citizens. If children hear fine music from the day of their birth and learn to play it, they develop sensitivity, discipline and endurance. They get a beautiful heart.” - Shinichi Suzuki

Turkey Feather Color Practice Sheet
For every activity practiced, color in one turkey feather.
Example: If your child practiced Twinkle Little Star and practiced their bow hold during a practice session, they can color in two feathers for practicing two things.
Group Class #2 10/25/25
Students dressed up in their Halloween costumes, played games, and practiced together alongside their parents. It was tons of fun!
Students practiced finding groups of two and three black keys on the piano as well as playing games that reviewed the musical alphabet. Students also played a “Fishing Animals Game”, where they practiced their bow hold. Attached to the bow was a string and magnet, which they used to pick up stuffed animals and put them into a basket. The goal of the game is to maintain proper bow hold while picking up the stuffed animals.
Cello and violin students also got to practice their “Pepperoni Pizza” rhythms as well as “Twinkle Variation A” alongside each other and their parents. They also did rhythm practice and repetition on the drums.
